Seven heroines. One evil doctor. Zero mercy. Operation Darkside DX, the corruption-and-training RPG from doujin circle ダークネスLAB, storms onto Steam on July 10, courtesy of Taiwan-based publisher Mango Party. If the name sounds familiar, that is because the original release already tore up the DLsite charts — this DX edition is the definitive way to experience it.
This is not a “just okay” catalog filler release. Operation Darkside DX ships with full Japanese voice acting across its entire female cast, five language options including English, and a complete bundle that folds in the previously separate DLC content. Everything that made the original a chart-topper is here, plus a visible upgrade pass on top of it.
For players who like their turn-based RPGs served with a heavy dose of heroine-corruption character arcs, this is one to circle on the calendar.
Operation Darkside DX key visual

Operation Darkside DX is not a new, unproven project — it is the payoff of an already-established success. On DLsite, the original release took the #1 spot in daily, weekly, and monthly sales rankings, and has gone on to sell over 40,000 copies. That is the kind of track record that turns a niche corruption RPG into a must-watch Steam launch.
The Steam version rolls in the previously separate DLC, Operation Darkside DX: Complete Combatant Corruption Chapter, so everything is unified into a single complete package. On top of that, this DX edition brings real upgrades rather than a simple re-release: Kei Nekomiya gets fully updated character art and CG scenes, the original five heroines receive refreshed everyday outfits, select voice audio has been quality-improved, and the DLC character Diamond now has a new voice actress, Ryoko Tezuka.
Add in full Japanese voice acting for every female character and support for five languages — Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean — and this is built to be the version most players should actually own.
